Shutterfly's Great Promotion

This year Shutterfly is giving away Holiday cards to bloggers who write about their excellent stuff. Shutterfly has tons of great cards. To eat your own free cards go here- http://blog.shutterfly.com/5358/holiday2010-blog-submission-form/

Check out the holiday cards at-- http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery/christmas-cards While you’re there, check out the photo books too. http://www.shutterfly.com/photo-books
It is a fun and easy way to preserve memories. I love all the great graphics and cute cards.
Not everyone loves the Christmas card tradition but in this house, we do. I love to send out holiday cards each year. I still remember the very first Holiday photo card we ever got. I think it was about 1980. Definitely the coolest card we received that year.
Shutterfly's holiday card possibilities will make it a tough choice for me this year. I normally like the multi-picture cards. But you can't go wrong with the single photo either.
Each day the mailbox brings us an assortment of cards from friends. We make a wall full of the Christmas greetings we received. I can’t wait to pick out our holiday card this year.

Another milestone

We have not been very good about making Luke learn without his training wheels. But it was time to take them off. My favorite part is Benjamin's encouragement.

Don't try this at home

So, occasionally we like to walk a little on the wild side. First we tried the Diet Coke and Mentos experiment. And that got boring. So we had to ratchet it up a notch. Behold what happens when you make a Diet Coke and Mentos rocket.

A Conversation with Benjamin

Benjamin: Who would win in a fight, a guy with 2 arms or a guy with 3 arms?
Me: (tapping into my superior hand-to-hand combat and anatomy knowledge) A guy with 3 arms.
Benjamin: Yeah, you're right.

Benjamin: Who would win in a fight, a guy with 3 arms or a guy with 4 arms?
Me: A guy with 4 arms.
Benjamin: Yeah, you're right.

Benjamin: Who would win in a fight, a guy with 4 arms or a guy with 5 arms?
Me: A guy with 5 arms.
Benjamin: Yeah, you're right.

Can you see where this is going?
He went all the way up to 10 arms.

Benjamin: Who would win in a fight a guy with 10 arms or a guy with 100 arms?
Me: (once again tapping into my knowledge of fighting and anatomy) a guy with 10 arms.
Benjamin: No, a guy with 100 arms.
Me: No, once you get more than 10 arms they would just be in your way and the guy with 10 arms would be more cooridinated.
Benjamin: Oh, yeah you're right.

File this under-Conversation I never thought I would have.

What's Up

Luke has been playing basketball. He has even made one basket. His real skills lie in his defense.

They even have totally unnecessary cheerleaders.
